Botox has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of glabellar frown lines between the eyes. Botox can improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, including crows feet and forehead wrinkles.
The procedure is performed in the office and is relatively painless. It can be performed with a topical anesthetic cream. The Botox is injected directly into the muscle and paralyzes the muscle. Its effects last for three to six months. As Botox wears off, for optimal results, the treatment should be repeated every 3 to 6 months.
Please contact Dr. Alyson Yashar if you would like to be evaluated for this procedure.
