We ensure proper contact lens fit:
Our contact lens staff is dedicated to proper contact lens fit. Our fitting services extend beyond the relative anonymity of toll-free purchasing. Whether you are a new or long-time wearer of contact lenses, you will be pleased by our hands-on fitting services.
A complete eye health examination is required before contact lens fitting. Our fitting services include:
Measuring the shape of the front of the eye (the cornea) with a Keratometer, or in special cases corneal topographer. Refracting the eye to determine its power. Selecting and adjusting lens curvature and diameter to match the shape of the cornea.
- Teaching proper insertion and removal techniques.
- Educating about cleaning, disinfection, and other contact lens care.
Follow-up visits are necessary. A successful fitting depends upon timely follow-up and your compliance with care instructions.
Contact Lens Fitting Fees:
Ordering lenses: in those cases where we do not have your lenses in stock, please allow at least one week for them to arrive in our offices. Lenses must be paid when ordered. In select cases, prices may vary depending upon the lens type and/or fitting difficulty.
Our contact lens fees cover all office services including fitting and instruction session(s) and a starter lens care kit. Any follow up visits for the care of your soft daily wear and disposable lenses are also included.
We offer free standard delivery of your lenses to our offices; special shipping/handling requests may require additional fees. If you have any questions about these fees, please give us a call.
